This coming Sunday, we gather to celebrate one of the most vibrant and significant days in the church calendar: The Feast of Pentecost<\/strong>.
Pentecost marks the beautiful moment the Holy Spirit descended upon the disciples, filling the Church with life, passion, and purpose. It is a time for renewal, celebration, and coming together as a community. We invite you, your family, and your friends to join us at St Michael and All Angels, Houghton-le-Spring, for worship. We are offering three distinct services across the day:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8:30 am \u2013 Holy Communion:<\/strong> A quiet, traditional service for peaceful morning worship. Led by Rev’d Judith Howes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
10:00 am \u2013 Holy Communion:<\/strong> Our main choral service filled with community warmth and praise. Led by Rev’d Barron with preaching from Rev’d Judith Howes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
6:00 pm \u2013 Celtic Eucharist: <\/strong>A sung service of Holy Communion drawing on liturgy from the Celtic Christian Tradition. Led by Rev’d Claire Cullingworth. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
No matter where you are on your journey of faith, there is a place for you here. Come and celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit with us 🔥🕊️<\/p>\n\n\n\n
