St Michael and All Angels Houghton-le-Spring

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, 500 jigsaw pieces have now been sponsored, leaving just the four ‘bonus’ pieces – as our 500 piece jigsaw actually has 504 pieces!

Instead of SELLING raffle tickets for these last four pieces, we are going to ALLOCATE A VIRTUAL RAFFLE TICKET NUMBER to each person who has already sponsored one or more pieces – no more money involved!

We will draw the raffle on 22^nd January and contact the four bonus piece winners as soon as possible after that.

Our monthly, family friendly service for all takes place in November on Safeguarding Sunday (16th November at 10am). The Theme is ‘Staying Safe’. All are welcome!

‘All Souls’ Service Sun 2^nd Nov 6pm
A gentle service of the Word, especially for those recently bereaved: to remember, to give thanks and to offer prayers of comfort. 
As part of the service, we traditionally read the names of the departed whose funerals we’ve held in this last year. If you would like us to include other departed loved ones please add their names (in CAPS) to the lists at the back of church.
