Dear Friends,
This Sunday, 28 June, is a momentous and joyful day for our church family as Sue Elsey is ordained as Deacon. Please read on for important changes to our usual Sunday schedule and details on how we are celebrating.
No Morning Services at Church
Please note that there will be no 8:30 am or 10:00 am services at our church this Sunday morning. Instead, we are all heading to Durham Cathedral to support Sue and witness her ordination service, if you are joining us we have been asked to please be seated by 9.45 am.
6:00 pm: Holy Communion & First Sermon
The celebrations continue back home later in the day. Join us at 6:00 pm for a special Holy Communion service. We are thrilled that the newly ordained Rev’d Sue Elsey will be preaching her very first sermon as Deacon.
Celebration in the Kepier Hall
Directly after the service, please stay for a celebration in the Kepier Hall. It will be a wonderful opportunity to congratulate Sue, share some refreshments, and celebrate this new chapter in her ministry together. Tea and coffee will be provided but should you wish for something stronger please bring your own.
Please keep Sue in your prayers over the coming days.
We look forward to sharing this beautiful day of celebration with you all.day.
With my prayers and best wishes,

Gracious Father,
by the obedience of Jesus
you brought salvation to our wayward world:
draw us into harmony with your will,
that we may find all things restored in him,
our Saviour Jesus Christ.
Amen
Please see below for whats going on in our church.
