From this week’s news-sheet

Dear Friends,

We invite you to join us this Sunday, 5th July, as we celebrate the Fifth Sunday after Trinity.

This week, our Gospel reading is Matthew 11:16–19, 25–end. In this passage, Jesus invites all who are weary and burdened to come to Him and find true rest for their souls. Whether you are seeking comfort, community, or quiet reflection, there is a place for you here.

We have three different services this Sunday. Please come to the one that fits your schedule best:

  • 8:30 AM – Holy Communion
    Join us for a peaceful start to the day. This service will be led by Rev’d Claire Cullingworth
  • 10:00 AM – Holy Communion
    Come together for our main morning worship. This service will be led by Rev’d Claire Cullingworth with our Deacon, Rev’d Sue Elsey.
  • 6:00 PM – Service of Light
    A peaceful, contemplative evening service filled with light, prayer, and music to close the Lord’s Day, led by our Reader, Anne Clappison.

Whether you come every week or have not been in a while, our doors are wide open. Come and find comfort, hope, and a warm welcome.

With my prayers and best wishes,

Almighty God,
send down upon your Church
the riches of your Spirit,
and kindle in all who minister the gospel
your countless gifts of grace;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen
