Looking for a space for your family this Sunday? 🥞 Looking for a space for your family this Sunday? 🥞🎨

Whether you joined us for the messy fun of our Pancake Party or you’ve never stepped through our doors before, we’d love to see you at Young Church!

Lent can feel like a "serious" time, but at Young Church, it’s all about discovering the Joy of the Gospel together through stories, crafts, and friendship. While the adults stay in the main part of the church to listen to our Readings and our Sermon, our younger members (age 4+) will be doing the same in their own way.

✨ What to Expect:
We know visiting a new place (or coming back after a while) can be daunting, so here is the lowdown:

The Warm-Up: We all start together in the main part of church for the beginning of the service.

The Send-off: After our 'gathering' (including some prayers and our first hymn, the children head out to their own Young Church area up on our mezzanine (don't worry, leaders will guide the way!). Our younger children stay in church with their parents where we have play mats, colouring and lego to cater for all ages.

The Fun Stuff: Expect a mix of Bible stories, creative crafts and activities to explore the theme of the day.

The Reunion: Children rejoin their families in the church before communion when everyone is invited to come forward for a blessing at the front of church.

The After-Party: Stay for a cuppa and a biscuit (and maybe a bit more Lego time) after the service—it's the best time to catch up!

When: This Sunday 22nd February at 10 am

Where: St Michael and All Angels, DH4 4DN [in the middle of town on the Broadway]

Come as you are. No Sunday best required—just yourselves. Whether you’re fasting from chocolate or just looking for a bit of community "joy," there’s a seat for you here.
