Sunday December 1st at 6.00 pm – A beautiful candlelit service of music, hymns & readings. With hand bells and minced pies this is a delightful service for a wonderful start to Advent!

Service of Remembrance will take place in Church on Sunday 10th November at 10.15am with the Act of Remembrance at 11am by the War Memorial

‘All Souls’ Service – Sun 3rd Nov 6pm
A gentle service of the Word, especially for those recently bereaved:
to remember, to give thanks and to offer prayers of comfort.
As part of the service, we traditionally read the names of the departed whose funerals we’ve held in this last year. If you would like us to include other departed loved ones please add their names (in CAPS) to the lists at the back of church.

Harvest Festival
Sun 27th October
We are celebrating our Harvest Festival next week and are delighted that we will be joined by uniformed organisations at our 10 am service.
In the evening at 6pm we have a special ‘Harvest’ Choral Service.
Donations of non-perishable food at our Sunday Services will be used in our community foodstore.
Please also return any further pledge cards at these services.

All-age and All-species worship!! Sun 13th Oct 10am

Houghton-le-Spring’s successful Ladies Community Choir, now in their 11th year, sing a selection of popular songs from across the eras. With guest soloists.
There will be a Licensed bar & Raffle.
