The Houghton-le-Spring Open Air Passion Play will take place on Good Friday 3rd April 2015 at 12noon at Houghton Hillside Cemetery (DH5 8BG).

The play is approximately one hour in duration. Spectators will stand and walk along with the actors.

A free shuttle bus will take spectators up to the Hillside Cemetery after 10.30am from The Broadway – DH4 4DN (by the archway of St Michael’s church).

Please note that there is no on-street parking available so the best way to get there is either by foot or by the free shuttle bus.

Please be aware that there are uneven surfaces at the cemetery – ensure you are wearing strong shoes.

A rest area, toilet and first aid facilities will be available. Please keep children with you at all times.

The Hillside Cemetery is just off Houghton Cut (the A690) and can be accessed at the end of Sunderland Street:
